Wanted: Self-Publishers

The Palouse Writers Guild will host its 2nd Annual Books & Brews event on Saturday, June 26, 2021. At this free, family-friendly event, authors can meet with the public and autograph their books. The event will be held at the 1912 Center, in Moscow, Idaho and will run from 5 pm to 8 pm that evening. Winners of the Palouse Writers Guild 2021 Writing Contests will be awarded at 6:30 pm during the Books & Brews event.

The official book vendor for the evening is Book People of Moscow and they will handle all book sales. Carol Price will be on hand to meet with authors and scan their books into her inventory between 2 pm and 4 pm.

Last year we featured traditionally published Palouse area authors.  This year we would like to showcase self-published authors. To be considered as a Book & Brews author, see the following application: Brews Application

Authors selected for inclusion will be notified no later than April 15, 2021 and will be expected to provide a head-shot for marketing and promotional purposes.

      Hi Matt,
The goal is to feature local self-published authors. However, traditionally published authors are not excluded from the event. Like you, many in the community are both self and traditionally published. We welcome all of them with open arms. Everyone interested in participating should submit an application. With social distancing there is limited table space available, so we can’t guarantee everyone will get a spot.
